At the start of the pandemic (out of necessity) I started using coffee as paint.
As we all know coffee is very addictive and I quickly became addicted to painting with coffee.
I loved the rich aroma as I worked and the challenge of creating shape and form with just one colour.
This rather unusual art medium also inspired a rather unusual subject matter.
I started painting Angels!
Not the typical angels you see on Christmas cards - Oh no these angels
had big butts, frizzy hair and even bigger attitudes.
My sassy coffee angels became extremely popular and the stars of 3 published books
Just Not That Kind of Angel
Everyday Angels
Everyday Angels in Training
Due to popular demand my coffee angels are also available as prints - Greeting Cards and Magnets
from www.Asharperimage.photostockplus.com
To my amazement I had found a way to turn coffee into cash.
So in the spirit of giving back
I decided to show others how to paint with coffee
I can't guarantee you will be able to turn it into cash
but I can guarantee you will be able to turn it into paint
and have fun experimenting with this rather unusual art medium.

Note: This project is designed for adults - I will include children if they are over 10 yrs and accompanied by an adult. However I don't do children's parties, youth groups or schools. This is just my preference (coffee art is suitable for all ages) however I prefer to work with adults rather than children.
